Abstract
Eighteen vaginally delivered women who developed late postpartum endometritis seven to 42 days after delivery were prospectively studied. Multiple microorganisms were recovered from the endometrium, including Chlamydia trachomatis, genital mycoplasmas, and a wide variety of bacteria. Erythromycin therapy was successful in ten of the 13 women who were followed.Entities:
