Abstract
An ovine surgical model for peptide investigations is presented. Techniques for exteriorization of the carotid artery, catheterization of the sagittal sinus, hypophysectomy via a transnasopharyngeal approach, and ventricular and cisternal cannulation in the sheep are employed within the model.
