Abstract
Antepartum mastitis is uncommon during pregnancy. This report describes two cases of mastitis occurring at 32 and 34 weeks' gestation. Early, aggressive therapy with parenteral antibiotics, as used in these cases, maximizes breast tissue conservation and function, avoids the development of breast abscesses and reduces both maternal and fetal morbidity.Entities:
