Abstract
Disappearance of parkinsonian symptoms was observed in a 57-year-old patient with Parkinson's disease after a contralateral thalamopeduncular infarct. From analysis of stereotaxic data in parkinsonian patients, this may be explained by lesion of the ventro-oral internal nucleus or of Forel's field, both of which are involved in thalamopeduncular infarcts.Entities:
