Abstract
Hyperprolactinemia and sexual dysfunction occurred in 7 of 10 chronic cocaine users. Two of these 7 patients who underwent rehabilitation for cocaine abuse and developed hyperprolactinemia and decreased libido are described. One patient developed galactorrhea. These adverse effects were reversed by bromocriptine. The pathophysiology of cocaine abuse and the central dopaminergic influence on sexual function are discussed.Entities:
