Alcohol levels in drivers and pedestrians killed in road accidents in Israel.

Abstract

Among autopsied drivers and pedestrians, blood alcohol levels greater than 50 mg/dl were found to be associated with male gender, one-car accidents and nighttime. Driving and walking while intoxicated (DWI and WWI) have emerged as public health problems in Israel.
