Long loop Roux-Y esophagojejunostomy following total gastrectomy.

Abstract

Excellent results were obtained with total gastrectomy in 42 patients having received one-layer esophagojejunostomy by hand-suturing. This is a safe and easy technique to use and therefore we use it from 1971 in all patients undergoing total gastrectomy.
