Abstract
Recently, new technologies have enabled more and more tests to be performed in the doctor's office. The reasons for performing tests in this setting include convenience to the patient, benefit to the physician treating the patient, and advantage to society. Concerns that have arisen with doctor's office testing include problems with ensuring quality, potential conflicts of interest, and an uncertain reimbursement climate.Entities:
