The basilar artery bifurcation in situ approached via the Sylvian route (50 x). An anatomical study in human cadavers.

C A Tulleken, M L Luiten.

Abstract

In human cadavers with the brain in situ the basilar artery bifurcation was approached via the Sylvian (pterional) route. The anatomical details of three variants of the Sylvian approach are described.
