[Use of 5-F-pigtail catheters (Superflow) in transaxillary arteriography of the pelvis and legs].

Abstract

Experiences with the 5-F-"Superflow" Pigtailcatheter for transaxillary arteriography of 24 patients are reported and compared with 24 cases where a 7-F-Fröhlich-catheter was used. The advantages of the smaller caliber for transaxillary approach are emphasized.
