[Daily and seasonal rhythms of physiological functions in the adrenalectomized rat].

Peculiarities of the hormonal regulation of physiological functions have been studied in intact and adrenalectomized albino rats with respect to the seasons. Glucocorticoids have been shown to determine, to a large extent, the activity of parameters of the immune system in spring, whereas in autumn their regulatory effect is most pronounced with relation to the indices of energetic homeostasis.
