Squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus in an Amazon parrot.

Abstract

Squamous cell carcinoma of the distal portion of the esophagus was diagnosed, through use of contrast radiography and necropsy, in a 30-year-old Amazon parrot. The clinical signs were collapse, opisthotonos, and torticollis following feeding.
