Abstract
The lymph node uptake of 165Dy was measured in 25 patients treated by radiation synovectomy via intra-articular injection of 165Dy-ferric hydroxide macroaggregates (FHMA). An average of 0.12% of the injected dose was found in the inguinal lymph nodes 19h post injection. This results in a lymph node of 16.6 rad (166 mGy), a dose significantly less than that reported following radiation synovectomy with other radiocolloids.
