Abstract
A 70-year-old woman had nodular lesions and a right hilar infiltrate visible on chest x-ray film. The diagnosis of pulmonary amyloidosis was established by a transbronchial lung biopsy. Over the next 14 years, the patient remained relatively asymptomatic but developed extensive pulmonary involvement. The case illustrates the long and relatively benign course of primary pulmonary amyloidosis.Entities:
