Induction of rat hepatic microsomal epoxide hydrolase by substituted urea herbicides.

B Schoket, I Vincze.

Abstract

Short-term effect of eight substituted phenylurea herbicides has been investigated on the induction of rat hepatic microsomal epoxide hydrolase activity using an HPLC method with unlabelled styrene oxide as substrate. Each compound increased epoxide hydrolase activity 1.5-4 times the controls.
