Abstract
The source and location of serotonin in the intermediate lobe of the rat pituitary were determined by high performance liquid chromatography and immunohistochemistry. Serotonin is present in the intermediate lobe in nerve fibers and terminals, in mast cells and in elements in the blood circulating in vessels on the surface of the lobe.Entities:
