Abstract
Repeated brief exposures to glucose in concentrations of 0.8 g/100 ml significantly depresses in vitro phagocytic ingestion of opsonized Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria by human peripheral polymorphonuclear granulocytes (PMN's), while the same concentration of L-aminoacid mixtures (Freamine) under the same conditions has no influence on it.Entities:
