Irreducible palmar dislocation of the distal interphalangeal joint of the finger.

G Inoue1, N Maeda.

Abstract

A case of irreducible palmar dislocation of the distal interphalangeal (DIP) joint is reported. The cause of irreducibility was an entrapment of the extensor tendon in front of the head of the middle phalanx.
