Abstract
A high blood pH level is usually associated with an extremely poor prognosis. We present a case of significantly elevated arterial blood pH (pH, 7.81) that was associated with the aggressive treatment of congestive heart failure. The recognition of this disorder and the institution of appropriate therapy resulted in complete recovery.Entities:
