Abstract
Herpes zoster has recently been reported in young patients with risk factors for AIDS. In high-risk patients under age 55, herpes may be the first manifestation of AIDS or AIDS-related complex. Dissemination of zoster does not appear to be greatly increased in this group, but corticosteroid therapy should be withheld.Entities:
