Abstract
Two children with ganglioneuroblastomas in different locations underwent fine needle aspiration (FNA). Clinically, the tumor in the presacral area was diagnosed as a benign teratoma and the retroperitoneal tumor as a neuroblastoma. Both tumors were correctly diagnosed preoperatively as ganglioneuroblastomas by FNA cytology. The smears showed the characteristic Homer-Wright rosettes, ganglion cells and fibrillar material.Entities:
