[Magnetic resonance imaging in a case of paramedian mesencephalic infarction].

Abstract

A case of paramedian midbrain infarction was studied by magnetic resonance imaging. The clinical syndrome included a paralysis of the oculomotor nerve sparing the pupil and cerebellar disorders of the opposite side. MRI disclosed a cylindrical infarction in the paramedian midbrain tegmentum.
