Abstract
A high resolution (3.5 A) cold stage operated at 123 K and an improved anti-contamination device have been constructed and operated in a top-entry JEM 100CX electron microscope. High resolution electron diffraction patterns and images of hydrated tobacco mosaic virus particles in vitrified ice have been recorded with the use of this cryo system.Entities:
