Stereotactic radiofrequency hypophysectomy.

Clinical indications and technical details of RF hypophysectomy were reviewed. Evaluation of serveral hundred procedures toward pathologic and symptomatic amelioration ofmetastatic breast cancer and diabetic retinopathy, and also a few cases of intrasellar tumor, indicated sufficient benefit for endorsement in selected patients.
