Abstract
The antimicrobial therapy of systemic salmonella infections is presently limited to ampicillin, chloramphenicol, and sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim. Infrequently, alternative therapy may be necessary. We report the successful treatment of a case of Salmonella vertebral osteomyelitis with cefotaxime sodium.Entities:
