Abstract
The frequencies of DSM-III diagnoses in 30 patients with dyspepsia of unknown origin and 20 patients with organic dyspepsia were compared. Dyspepsia of unknown origin was associated with a higher prevalence of psychiatric diagnoses (86.7% versus 25.0%), particularly anxiety disturbances (66.7%).Entities:
