Abstract
Whereas most physicians believe that long-term survival is unlikely when mediastinal lymph node metastases are present, a significant number of these patients do have resectable tumors with encouraging long-term survival results. Data are presented to support this view, and steps identified to guide the physicians in selecting the patients who can benefit from this surgical approach.Entities:
