Abstract
Purpose: To evaluate the effect of surgeon-controlled parameters on the color performance of the Ngenuity 3-dimensional (3D) visualization system. Design: A calibrated reference target was placed inside a model eye to assess the Ngenuity 3D camera under different settings. The Ngenuity 3D display was assessed with a commercial colorimeter.Entities:

Summary of Delta E Values with Their Associated Level of Human Perception
| ΔE00 | Perception |
|---|---|
| < 1.0 | Not perceptible by human eyes |
| 1–2 | Perceptible through close observation |
| 3–10 | Perceptible at a glance |
| 11–49 | Colors are more similar than opposite |
| 100 | Colors are exact opposites |
