The varied computed tomographic appearances of acute spinal epidural haematoma.

Abstract

Two cases are reported of surgically confirmed acute spinal epidural haematoma demonstrated by computed tomography at the time of presentation. Five distinct appearances were encountered. The variable morphology and the role of computed tomography in diagnosing this condition are discussed.
