Abstract
Background: People with cancer, as well as their family members and loved ones, frequently experience distress. Distress can sometimes escalate from a normal level to one that interferes with therapy, makes it difficult for you to function or cope, and has an impact on many aspects life. About 1 in 4 people with cancer experience major or clinical depression, and anxiety is also a common problem for cancer patients. Anxiety and depression are the most familiar mental illnesses among cancer patients.Entities:
