Abstract
BACKGROUND: Person-centered maternity care is respectful and responsive care to individual women's preferences, needs, and values and ensuring that their values guide all clinical decisions during childbirth. It is recognized as a key dimension of the quality of maternity care that increases client satisfaction and institutional delivery.
