Abstract
A 78-year-old woman who was known to suffer from bilateral absolute glaucoma underwent enucleation of her left eye because of corneal perforation with spontaneous bleeding. The clinical and pathologic findings were compatible with spontaneous expulsive hemorrhage. A possible cause of the hemorrhage in this case was inflamed necrotic choroidal vascular walls that bled after corneal perforation with decompression in the glaucomatous eye.Entities:
