Background: Indirect immunofluorescence (IIF) on rat bladder epithelium (RBE) has been widely used to detect anti-plakin antibodies present in paraneoplastic pemphigus (PNP). However, anti-plakin antibodies have also been found in a group of patients with pemphigus vulgaris (PV).Entities:
