Abstract
The authors describe three cases of idiosyncratic response to occupational solvent exposure, with symptoms characteristic of panic disorder (DSM-III). The specific treatment and prognostic implications of this panic-like reaction to solvents are discussed. Sodium lactate infusion is proposed as an objective test to aid in the diagnosis.Entities:
