Techniques of polypectomy: hot biopsy forceps and snare polypectomy.

Abstract

Polyps of the colon are premalignant lesions that should be resected whenever encountered. The techniques of snare polypectomy and hot-biopsy polypectomy have been explained. The complication rate is currently acceptable.
