Abstract
An infant with multiple cerebral infarctions and chronic subdural hematoma is reported. The infarctions were found after repeated tappings of the hematoma. Angiography did not demonstrate any occlusion of the main arteries. The infarctions were thought to be caused by thrombosis of the hanging cerebral veins. The pathogenesis and significance of the venous infarctions in an infantile subdural hematoma are discussed.Entities:
