Abstract
Peripheral exudative hemorrhagic chorioretinopathy (PEHCR) is a rare degenerative chorioretinal disease with subretinal or subepithelial hemorrhage and exudation in the fundus periphery in older patients. Even though it is the second most common entity among pseudomelanomas and its characteristic features simplify diagnosis, PEHCR is often not recognized and therefore misdiagnosed. In most cases stabilization or regression spontaneously occur. Therefore, treatment for PEHCR should be cautiously selected when function is good and surgical intervention should be preferably considered when visual loss is imminent.Entities:
