Abstract
OBJECTIVES: Minority populations in the United States face a disproportionate burden of illness from COVID-19 infection and have lower vaccination rates compared with other groups. This study estimated the equity implications of increased COVID-19 vaccination in the United States, with a focus on the number of cases, hospitalizations, and deaths avoided. STUDYEntities:

Vaccination data for counties within Texas and Hawaii was accessed July 15, 2021. cThe results of a linear regression indicate a slope of −0.086, an R2 of 0.03, an intercept of 0.57, and a P-value of <0.01.
