Abstract
As the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic continues globally, there are an increasing number of pediatric cases. Since the initial symptoms of COVID-19 may overlap and co-exist with other respiratory infections typically affecting children, this review examines the use of computed tomography as a diagnostic and management tool. Children with preexisting conditions may be particularly prone to a more severe course. This study reviews and analytically summarizes the findings typically associated with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 in contrast with other more usual lower respiratory tract infections.Entities:
