Abstract
In this study, we present a unique instance of a patient who developed hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis secondary to a triple infection with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), HIV, and histoplasmosis. We emphasize the proinflammatory dysregulations driving the severity of COVID-19 infection in this setting and highlight the importance of early diagnosis and targeted therapy of underlying conditions as a method to increase the chance of survival.Entities:
