Abstract
Stomach cancer is a common public health problem in South East Asia including Bhutan. Chronic infection with Helicobacter pylori is regarded as the principal cause of stomach cancer. Herein, we present the incidence of stomach cancer in Bhutan for eight years (from 2014 to 2021). We also discuss the steps taken for the prevention and early detection of stomach cancer. © Association of Surgeons of India 2022.Entities:
