Abstract
A five-year update of a previous 20-year study of adolescent pregnancy is presented. For the 25-year period, data were collected on 2,789 adolescents. Prematurity and low birth weight infants continue to have a high incidence in adolescent pregnancy. This study found that there has been a significant decrease in preeclampsia and toxemia of pregnancy and a large increase in the incidence of cesarean section.Entities:
