Abstract
Mesenchymal tumors arising in the penis are extremely uncommon. Sarcomas must be distinguished from sarcomatoid squamous carcinomas, owing to their treatment and prognostic implications. We report a rare case of leiomyosarcoma of the penis in a 70-year-old patient. Histopathology was of a high-grade spindle cell sarcoma, initially reported as sarcomatoid carcinoma on biopsy, subsequently confirmed on partial penectomy as a leiomyosarcoma.Entities:
