Abstract

A 81-year-old female patient was referred in our hospital with episodes of pulmonary edema and had an isolated chronic total occlusion of the left main coronary artery. Coronary angiogram showed total occlusion the left main and filling the left coronary system by collaterals from the right coronary artery.

A 81‐year‐old female patient referred to our hospital and had a chronic total occlusion of the left main coronary artery (LM). Coronary angiogram showed total occlusion of the LM and filling the left coronary system by collaterals from the right coronary artery (RCA) (Videos [Link], [Link]). Chronic total occlusion of the LM is rarely observed on coronary angiogram. To our knowledge, there are only few reports which demonstrate the filling of the left coronary system from the RCA. Thus within the broad spectrum of significant LM coronary artery disease, we report this imaging for its rarity.
