Abstract
BACKGROUND: The early clinical diagnosis of spinal infections in elderly patients with recessive or atypical symptoms is difficult. Klebsiella aerogenes is a common opportunistic bacterium that can infect the respiratory tract, urinary tract, and even the central nervous system.
