Abstract
Purpose: Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) has become the primary treatment for early upper gastrointestinal tract lesions. During endoscopic surgery, endotracheal intubation is generally performed in the patients' supine position, and patients are shifted to the left lateral position for endoscopic surgery.
