Abstract
Fulminant pneumonia due to Mycoplasma pneumoniae [MP] is quite rare even though there is a high prevalence of Mycoplasma species infection in the general population. We report a case of an atypical pneumonia with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) due to Mycoplasma pneumoniae in a young female and the clinical challenges encountered along with the current literature review.Entities:
