Dear EditorWe would like to share ideas on the publication “paroxysmal supra-ventricular ventricular tachycardia after AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine injection [1].” Line t al. concluded that “While COVID-19 is far from over, …..[1].” We agree that the COVID-19 vaccination has the potential to induce side effects, including cardiac problems. The patient in this case exhibited tachycardia, which might or could not be linked to COVID-19 immunization. It's difficult to draw a definitive judgment when there's no pre-vaccination information on the vaccine recipient's heart state. There could be a concurrent or underlying medical condition for a COVID-19 vaccine recipient that causes post-vaccination incidence [2]. For example, a vaccine recipient might have concurrent dengue [3] and dengue might be a cause of arrhythmia [4].
