For those patients with new tumors at ≤1 year from initial diagnosis, only 2% occurred in the macula, 52% in the macula to equator region, and 46% in the equator to ora serrata region, compared to those who develop new tumors >12 months from initial diagnosis where 0% occurred in the macula, only 22% in the macula to equator region, and 78% in the equator to ora serrata region
