Abstract
Applications of ionic liquids (ILs) for the modification physicochemical properties of porous materials have been extensively studied with respect to various applications based on the understanding and development of properties of ILs. In this review, IL-graphene composites are discussed and provided a perspective of composites of IL. IL has been used as a medium to improve the dispersibility of graphene, and the resulting composite material shows excellent performance in gas separation and catalysis during environmental treatment. The applications of ILs and IL-functionalized graphene are discussed in detail with the actual environmental issues, and the main challenges and opportunities for possible future applications are summarized.Entities:
